Thank you for your interest in participating in the 42nd Thornhill Village Cultural Festival. This year's Festival will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2018, between 10:00am and 4:30pm.

All vendors must have liability insurance of $2 million.

Please follow the application process instructions found below.

The Thornhill Village Cultural Festival invites vendors of a variety of foods to participate in the Festival.

Booth spaces are 15 feet wide by 8 – 12 feet deep, depending on location. Our festival is a one day, outdoor event and vendors must supply their own tables, chairs and weather protection. This is a rain or shine event. Parking and washroom facilities are provided within walking distance. No on-street parking is permitted within the Festival area, including beside or behind your booth.

Mobile food carts are permitted but are designated to a specific area within the Festival boundaries.

Please see the Vendor location maps located here for space locations

Our entrance fees for food vendors range from $50 for religious and non-profit organizations to $350 for larger units. When your application is reviewed and the size of your operation is determined, you will be notified of the specific amount of your fee.

There will be a $30 administrative fee imposed where any cheque is returned NSF or dishonoured by issuing bank for any reason or stop paid by the issuer.

The fee will be added to required replacement payment or billed separately if no new payment is received.

NO booth will be reserved for the organization until the replacement payment is received and verified to clear by the issuing bank.

Please complete the on-line Food Vendor Application Form which can be found below. Alternatively, the application form can be printed, completed and mailed to the address below. If you are using the mail, a self-addressed, stamped envelope must be included for us to use to confirm your application.

Food vendors must comply with the guidelines of the York Region Health Services Department and complete their Application for Special Events – Vendor Application form. Both the guidelines and the application form are available below. The York Region Health Services Vendor Application form should be sent when your fees are submitted.

Early in June, you will be contacted about whether your application has been approved.

Fees for approved vendors are due by August 1, 2018. (No post-dated cheques please) Sites will be assigned on a first come, first assigned basis. A confirmation will be e-mailed to you confirming your location when we receive your fee

Booth spacing has been revised since last year. The Committee will endeavour to place previous vendors in the same location as last year, but cannot guarantee it. New vendors will be placed on a first come, first served basis.
